Clients are represented within these practice areas in both litigation and transactional matters. The Firm undertakes engagements only where it has extensive experience and hands-on expertise. It will always refer a client to a special practitioner where it does not feel that it has the requisite expertise.

Litigation and appeals include a wide variety of partnership, corporate, and shareholder matters, real estate and shopping center/office complex disputes, employment practices and discrimination, property damage, contractual and commercial disputes, Constitutional issues, and marital cases. The Firm handles all pre-trial, trial and appellate aspects of the litigation undertaken by it.

Business and corporate transactional representations are also varied and include: mergers and acquisitions; franchise arrangements; partnership and shareholder agreements and ventures; structured financing; private placements and offering memoranda; development of employment practice manuals and procedures for employers; trademark and copyright advice; sale and purchase of real estate, and complex leasing transactions; corporate and business governance, such as shareholder agreements, buy-sell arrangements, limited liability company operating agreements, and executive employment/compensation contracts.

Inasmuch as the Firm actively represents several large financial institutions, it is busily engaged in a wide variety of bank loan documentation (revolving credit agreements, asset-based lending, and mortgage pool investor purchase agreements), and government regulatory compliance, as well as loan workouts.

The Firm’s clientele range from publicly traded companies to regional and small business entities; banks; mortgage lenders; municipalities and educational institutions; real estate owners, developers, and shopping centers; and, of course, individuals.

Individual representation in estate and trust tax planning, surrogate's court planning and marital law are particular areas of expertise which are important components of the Firm’s practice. These require both a keen knowledge of the law and deep experience in economic and financial valuation.

Because of the fast-moving development of digital technology, the Firm recently expanded its practice to include Electronic Commerce, as well as copyright and trademark counseling, and litigation to protect and enforce intellectual property rights.
