ATTORNEY PROFILE

Cheryl Berger has over 18 years of litigation experience, specializing in business, commercial and civil rights litigation in State and Federal Courts. Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Berger was Senior Counsel in the New York City Law Department, Office of Corporation Counsel. While at the Law Department, Ms. Berger handled some of the City’s highest profile class-action lawsuits and personally negotiated settlements worth over $75 million in those and other cases.

Prior to joining the NYC Corporation Counsel Office, Ms. Berger was an associate in the law firm of Ellenoff Grossman & Schole, LLP, where she represented and advised individuals and business owners in general and commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, intellectual property, employment discrimination, construction law, bankruptcy and matrimonial actions.

Ms. Berger graduated from the University of Michigan, cum laude, and earned her law degree from Brooklyn Law School.
