Reisman Peirez Reisman & Capobianco’s Trust, Estates and Probate Administration practice is dedicated to building and preserving the wealth of individuals and the executives of our corporate clients.
We handle the full range of tasks necessary to ensure the protection of our clients’ assets. This includes extensive planning designed for wealth preservation; the preparation of wills, trusts and other estate documents; handling accounting issues; and creating various tax-minimizing devices such as family limited partnerships and charitable foundations.
Our legal expertise extends to the probate process itself, to ensure the faithful adherence to our clients’ desires. Our Firm has extensive experience in estate litigation in Surrogate’s Court, involving such diverse matters as will contests, discovery proceedings, accounting issues, objections to probate and guardianships, and widow’s election rights. Judge John B. Riordan, formerly the Nassau County Surrogate, recently joined Reisman Peirez Reisman & Capobianco as Senior Counsel to the Firm, providing the Firm’s clients with his experience in the Trusts and Estates Department concentrating on estate and trust litigation, wills, estate planning, probate and estate administration.
