Local Attorney Named One of America’s Super Lawyers

October 4, 2011 (Garden City, NY)—Joseph Capobianco, a Partner in Garden City’s Reisman Peirez Reisman and Capobianco law firm was selected for inclusion in the edition of  Super Lawyers that appeared in the October 3rd edition of the New York Times Magazine.  Selection to Super Lawyers is based on a rigorous peer-review survey by the top attorneys in the country.  The publication reaches 13 million readers nationwide. 

Celebrating their thirtieth anniversary this year, Reisman Peirez Reisman and Capobianco had all five of their partners recognized by Best Lawyers in their various fields of practice. 

Attorney Joseph Capobianco has been a lifelong resident of Glen Cove. Upon the recommendation of Nassau County Executive Thomas Suozzi, former Governor Eliot Spitzer had appointed Joseph Capobianco as a Director of the Nassau Health Care Corporation which operates the Nassau County Medical Center located in Uniondale.  He is also on the Board of Managers for the Glen Cove YMCA.

Capobianco joined Reisman Peirez Reisman and Capobianco in 1990, and specializes in Litigation, Bankruptcy, Corporate Law, Commercial and Real Estate Law.  Considered a leader in the field, Capobianco lectures frequently before professional associations and community organizations.  A graduate of Long Island University and American University Law, Capobianco has been practicing law for 25 years.
