E. Christopher Murray was interviewed by the Washington Post regarding airline passengers’ rights if they are bumped or stranded on the tarmack. Mr. Murray explained that the airlines are under ever increasing pressure to fill seats and expand rapidly, but that passengers currently have rights if they are bumped, and Congress is likely to adopt regulations to protect airline consumers.
